Painted Painted Dog

Sneak peak of another piece for the African Painted Dog Conference here in Chicago. I ended up going in a completely different direction for this one and went for something extra painterly. They are "painted" dogs after all. haha. Every now and then I try and push myself to do something semi-realistic. Forces me to change the way I think about a piece and dusts off some neglected areas of my brain. ...and wow...some areas are extra dusty.
