Tor for Mac Icon Replacement

If you care about privacy: Tor Browser is a web browser which offers you full anonymity. It allows people living in countries where the government blocks certain parts of the internet to use services like Facebook and Twitter.

If you don’t care about privacy: Here’s a shiny onion!

Replacing the icon:

Note: There are 2 locations where you have to replace the icon.

1. Download tor.icns (attached to this shot)

2. On your Mac, open Finder and go to the Applications folder, and locate the Tor app. Select the app and press CMD + I to bring up the Information modal.

3. Drag tor.icns onto the top left icon (not onto the icon you see in the Preview section)

4. Right click on the Tor app and click “Show Package Contents”. Now go to Contents and then MacOS. Inside this folder you see an app called TorBrowser. Select this app and press CMD + I

5. Repeat step 3.
