Font recommendations / advice

This is a logo I designed for myself whilst in my second year of college. Overall I'm happy with the cut of the logo, I think it's unique to me, easily recognizable and isn't really following any trends that I've seen.
I've been going back and forward with using it as I'm still really unsure of what font style to use alongside the logo itself. I've tried a lot of fonts and font families, settling on a serif font which my lecturer recommended for my end of year presentations, you can see this on the other shots I've put up, to be honest I don't think it looks great.
Any recommendations / advice?
