Graduate Thesis: Financial Literacy Seminar Currency.

The fourth step of the seminar (for my grad thesis) employs the application of newly learned skills into action.

I created what I dubbed “Mommy Bucks” to be distributed as a reward for participation through various sessions during the seminar. At the culmination of the day, participants were encouraged to use the money they earned in a marketplace of donated clothing, baby and household items.

The attendees practiced budgeting, saving and making overall good financial decisions for themselves and their families.
