The Suitest

This is a logo I did late last year for a company called The Suitest (www.thesuitest.com), that I've finally been given the go ahead to post on here.

A little blurb about the company: "TheSuitest.com is a hotel search engine that finds bargains based on room-by-room analysis of prices and amenities. From the size of the TV, to the view, to the bathroom fixtures, TheSuitest crunches millions of data-points about rooms and hotels to help you get the most bed for your buck. And unlike other hotel sites, TheSuitest also allows you to include resort fees, parking fees and WiFi fees when comparing room prices to make sure you’re comparing apples to apples."

The client started off the project by telling me that they wanted something unique, fun, and contemporary. I immediately knew I wanted to do a custom logotype. I rarely get to do these for clients and I jumped at the opportunity to flex my typography skills a bit. Once I got the typography down, I turned my focus on bringing the logo to life. The placard does a nice job of presenting the logotype in a way that makes it obvious that the company is hotel-related.

In the end, the client loved it and I'm really happy with it. The service is live, but currently in Beta. Give it a try the next time you need a hotel room.

As usual, check both the @2x and the attachement for larger images.
