The geniuses (they pronounce it jeen-yuss-ease) at Mysterious Trousers asked me to help with a promotional banner for the App Store—the  editors were set to feature LOOSE PANTS—MysTrou's dead-simple (and beautiful) fitness tracking app.

Everything those guys do has this elegantly-simple aesthetic to it (or "flat" as all the kids call it). The last thing I wanted to do was muck with that.

So I just took the LOOSE PANTS app icon and expanded it into a guy who'd obviously been using the app and looked all mid-century-modern-sexy in his rooster knit tie.
