Designer of the Future

This project was the culmination of a six-week transnational collaboration. The course was comprised of half Master's Grpahic Design students at AKV St boost in Breda, NL and half Graduate Communications Design students at Pratt Institute in NYC (US).

The students were put into groups and discussed the past, present and future of graphic design on a micro and macro scale. Prompted by readings from Lies Ros (NL) and John Maeda (US), each group came up with a "multi-voice essay", containing questions about design vs. art, client roles, designer responsibility and the future of our industry.
