Icon Sketch 1

For a personal project, I've decided to take on the task of making my very first icon set! I'm drawing inspiration from one of my favorite television shows of all time, Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show consists of 4 different nations and my goal is to make an icon set based on those 4 different nations. I'm starting with the Water Tribe where the character designs and the environment of their nations are heavily influenced by Yupik and Inupiat cultures.

Since this is my first time creating my own set of icons, I've started to experiment with red lead, thanks to a co-worker of mine! And let me just say, I love it so far! It's a lefty's dream in terms of minimal smudging :)
