Mini event widget

This is a draft for a little sidebar widget, it loads up 5 x popular events and allows the user to scroll through some hot events coming up in the next few days.

Its a very small space, so space is super limited. I was concerned that its not completely evident that you can flick through several content items one after another, but trust that those black nav arrows are implicit enough.

Thoughts? Is that (above) not that evident? Cheers :)
