Gif Practice

Here is a small practice. It isn't pretty and it is fast just because I didn't have time to make too many frames. Here is the file's psd you can view as resource.

Ideally I made it 13 frames. The smaller light ray does 2 rotations during this 13 frames, so it takes 6 frames for one rotation while the larger ray (colored red to make it easier to see) does only 1 rotation during these 13 frames. This gives the effect that the smaller rays are moving faster than the big, a great way to add depth. Animating in PS can be tricky, though. In order to make the loop correct, you have to have the last frame, #13, be in the position before frame #1 so that the transition is seamless on the loop (So if frame #1 is located 200pixels in, #13 should be 150pixels, for example).
