Announcement video and website

Over the weekend I made a little announcement video and website to present it.

I shot the video on a 5D III with a terrible lens. I cut samples from a Lumineers song for the audio track.

It uses mostly Mission Script.

The website is somewhat responsive. I gave it an icon too for family members that wanted to save a quick link to it on their homescreen.

I experimented with converting a video to a gif to use as a moving poster image. I think it's a pretty cool effect.

Anyhow, we did this in the span of two days, so it's pretty rough.
