Halcyon

Here's the finished flyer design for now... pending feedback from my tutors.

My first attempt at doing an ornate typographic piece. I chose the Halcyon name because of themes of nostalgia and golden ages when it comes to discovering items at these Antique & Collectors fairs.
In turn it led me to look at Herb Lubalin's work from a golden age of American Graphic Design.
The colour scheme for the lettering comes from my research & moodboards, where I looked at vintage electric guitars and "sunburst" style paint jobs.
