FixUp App Icon

This was for an app I spent the last half-year designing and almost solely programming (iOS-side) for a start-up called Curious Minds. It's a video-chat app called FixUp that allows users to connect to hardware experts for advice. I didn't come up with the idea, but spent much time designing and developing the interface and network calls.

I spent probably 80% of my time at that company programming iOS, and 20% UI/UX/Photoshop designing. It was a pleasure to work for a company that gave me the time to learn iOS app-programming, but I left just before finishing this icon a few weeks ago to pursue freelance again — and thus, the icon is currently unused.

I'm thinking about adding some tools sticking out of this toolbox — and giving a more final version to the company in hopes that they'll adopt it even after I've left.

Criticism and any improvement suggestions are (as always) greatly welcome. Design isn't my greatest skill at this point, but I find myself enjoying it more than the programming side on most occasions. At least, I certainly don't want to ever be stuck programming an awful looking interface. :)

TL;DR: It's a red app icon.
