Font Pairing

For once, I think I found a harmonious font pairing, from Google Fonts, that only took me 4 hours. It normally takes me days to find something I am happy with.

When pairing fonts from different families, I apply this trick to get a better understanding of the x-height, letterforms (especially bowls, counters, shoulders, ascenders and descenders).

I also like to compare numerals especially if the "3", "4", "5", "7" and "9" are going to sit below the baseline.

These two are not 100% perfect, but have enough similarities to suggest a nice harmony.
