I didn't make this logo.

This is the logo for the Microsoft Store. I have no idea why Microsoft isn't using this for windows itself... it's pretty awesome. And it achieves all of the goals they intended with the Windows 8 logo redesign: it's metro-y, ties into Windows roots and it's not a flag.
