DR Logo — WIP

I dont want to say too much about what this is for, but the concept is to help designers get their word out.

The concept is that Multiple designers are talking (hence the word balloons) and creating a unified voice (hence the color blend.)

The problem I have is that I cant decide on the colors. I think I like the cmyk (#1) as it blends the best and the colors are obviously design related. but on the other hand I am aware that this is not a new style, in other words, it's been done.

I think my second choice would be #3, but the blue and red get dark real quick, and the orange and red barely blend at all.

Thoughts anyone?
